Play therapy can be very effective for small groups of children who struggle with social skills or with experiences that make them feel isolated (eg: bereavement, loss, low self-esteem). There is an increased sense of safety in the peer group and the experience can be powerful in facilitating positive shifts. Group therapy referrals are closely managed by the therapist. They are charged, per child, at the same rate as individual therapy.

primary tutoring:
As a primary teacher of 20 years, I offer primary tuition – providing fun and interactive learning experiences for children needing support with learning.
With class teaching experiences from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) up to and including Year 6, I listen to children as they teach me what they understand, and then support them in addressing misconceptions and clarifying areas of confusion.
With a well-humoured and reflective approach, children’s knowledge, understanding and confidence grow.
